American Women. It is the first Food and Drug Administration
(FDA) approved early option pill for ending early pregnancy.
Mifeprex followed by Misoprostol is a safe and effective non-surgical
method for ending early pregnancy. Women in Europe have used
this option for more than a decade.
Mifeprex is a non-invasive early
option for ending pregnancy. Mifeprex is taken orally, allowing
you to avoid anesthesia or surgery in most cases. Some women
feel it is a more private option. When you choose this early
option pill, you will receive counseling and support throughout
the process.
Mifeprex followed by Misoprostol
is approximately 92 to 95 percent effective in ending pregnancy.
Mifeprex blocks a hormone needed
to maintain pregnancy. When followed by Misoprostol, Mifeprex
ends the pregnancy.
Mifeprex is provided through
a doctor's office or clinic. The early option pill can only
be taken during the first seven weeks of pregnancy.
