There are a number of signs to warn you that you may have either Type 1 or Type 2 Diabetes.

I’m going to explain a few of them to keep an eye out for.

*Frequent trips to the bathroom
When there is too much glucose in your blood, urination becomes more frequent. When your body lacks insulin, your kidneys have a hard time filtering glucose back into your blood. They become overworked and try to draw extra water out of your blood, which is then moved to your bladder.

*Long-term thirst
Another sign of diabetes is an unquenchable thirst. This goes hand-in-hand with frequent urination. If you find yourself drinking more and more water without feeling satiated, you may want to take note and see if you exhibit
any other symptoms.

*Weakness
The job of insulin is to help translate glucose into a useable substance for your cells. You’ll feel weak and tired if there isn’t enough insulin to do this job properly.

*Losing weight
Because of diabetes, your body will no longer get enough energy from the sugars you eat. It will start looking in other places, such as far deposits. While losing weight without trying may sound nice, let me assure you that in this instance, it’s not!

These are just a few of the common signs of diabetes. If you notice that you’re exhibiting any (or all) of these, you’ll want to see your doctor immediately.
