Dr. Pendergraft recognized a great need for second trimester terminations in the Orlando area. Women were finding it necessary to travel hundreds or thousands of miles to a practitioner competent in performing early and late second trimester abortions. He discovered a great demand for his services not only throughout the country, but worldwide as well. He opened his first medical office in March 1996, and has opened five additional offices in Florida since then. Dr. Pendergraft constantly strives to assure that abortions are performed safely, and during times that are convenient to patients. The Orlando Women's Center provides abortion services during a wide variety of times, seven days a week.

If you are faced with an unplanned pregnancy, a complicated pregnancy, or are thinking about having an abortion, we are here to help in every way possible. Orlando Women's Center is committed to offering all women and their families complete and informative reproductive services. Once informed of the risks and benefits of a termination procedure, it is our belief that a woman will possess the mental, moral, physical and emotional means to cope with difficult health issues, and make a decision that is most appropriate for herself and her family.
